Karen Boornazian
Karen has been teaching for 37 years, 26 of them at the Philadelphia Skating
Club and Humane Society.
Karen is a triple Gold Medalist in Figures, Freestyle and Dance. She was
Western Canadian Senior Ladies Champion for two years and a Silver Medalist
at Canadian Senior Nationals. Karen represented Canada in the World and
North American Championships.
Karen has been teaching all levels of skating since turning professional and
moving to the United States. Several of her students have competed at the
United States National Championships. One of her students, Joe Radomile, is
the 2005 Masters Men I (age 30-40) Free Skating Champion at the ISU Adult
Competition in Oberstdorf, Germany. In the past few years, in addition to
coaching figure skating, Karen co-coaches a summer hockey camp and teaches
hockey skills from beginner hockey through junior hockey.
Karen is available to teach Basic Skills, Choreography, Dance, Figures,
Freestyle, and Moves in the Field.
